Valley resident writes book on tragedy

SUNBURY — A Valley resident has examined the Newtown school shooting, and decided to write a book on his insight.  Matthew Lysiak of Selinsgrove was a guest on WKOK Sunrise talking about his book, “Newtown: An American Tragedy”. Lysiak, a former reporter for the New York Daily News, realized he wanted to write a book on the Sandy Hook shootings while reporting on the story. Lysiak spoke about why he wrote this book saying, “ Because it was just sort of too big.
